How to cure my cat's skin irritation

i took ma cat puss to the vet last sat for her earmites prob,they gave her a shot and sum tresaderm droppers .it's been a few days and looks like she's still havin' itch and irritation.she's been scratchin' the area 'round her face and it looks all red inside. i'm really worried .what else i can do to relieve her from all these?

When I worked at the humane society, the cats with ear mites actually loved getting their ears cleaned (something they usually hate during check ups) because they itch so bad. Also, when you give the cat ear drops, the first thing they want to do is shake their head.
